What should I bring for General Notary?+
Bring complete documents, acceptable identification, and all signers. A current government-issued photo ID is a good starting point; confirm your ID and any witness needs with Caprice before meeting. Do not sign documents requiring witnessed signatures before meeting with the notary. For a jurat, sign in the notary’s presence. Some documents may already be signed when an acknowledgment is performed; you must still appear before the notary and acknowledge your signature. Confirm any document-specific witness requirements before meeting.
Can I meet with you online?+
Current General Notary appointments are in person. All signers must be physically present for the notarization.
Is $10 the full price of a mobile visit?+
$10 is the fee for one applicable standard Florida notarial act, subject to limits and exemptions. Three applicable standard acts are $30 before separately agreed travel. Our mobile travel fee is $25 for the first 10 one-way driving miles, plus $1 per additional mile. Driving distance is rounded to the nearest tenth of a mile, and additional mileage is prorated at $1 per mile. Caprice calculates mileage manually from a private designated dispatch location. Travel and notarial fees are separately disclosed, agreed before appointment confirmation and dispatch, and itemized independently. An itemized receipt is provided. The dispatch address is not published. This travel fee is separate from the statutory notarial fee. For legally exempt acts, any associated travel-charge question requires individual review; the standard travel schedule is not automatically applied. Statutory fee exemptions remain applicable.
How do I pay?+
We accept cash and card payments through Square Tap to Pay. General Notary payment is due at the time of service. This website does not collect payments or card details. An inquiry does not confirm an appointment. Courier & Logistics payment terms are confirmed under the applicable client or dispatch agreement.
How are courier requests priced?+
Courier and logistics pricing depends on the route, timing, item, and applicable dispatch arrangement. Share your pickup and delivery cities to discuss availability and pricing. Notary fees do not apply to courier work.
Where can I request service?+
Start with Orange Park, Clay County, and the Jacksonville area in Northeast Florida. Share your city or ZIP code so Caprice can confirm coverage, timing, and any mobile travel fee for your request.
